Welcome to the Banks County Horse Association!

The Banks County Horse Association welcomes everyone back for the 2009 show season! We have lots of exciting events taking place this year. Take a look at our new calender of events beginning this month. Our regular shows will begin on the 2nd Saturday in April. Come out and have a GREAT time. We look forward to seeing everyone again this year.

We would like to congratulate the Banks County 4-H Horse Judging Team. The team placed 3rd in the state at the May Horse Judging Competion and Shelby Quakenbush placed 7th in state. GOOD JOB EVERYONE!

The BCHA is based at the Banks County Park & Rec. Horse Arena in Homer, Georgia. Our shows are the 2nd Saturday of each month beginning in March through November.

The BCHA is active in the community through benefit shows and donations made to non-proft organizations such as Relay for Life, the 'Shop With A Cop' program, Generous Hearts of Banks County, the GA Transplant Foundation, the GA Heart Foundation and Challenged Child & Friends.

We actively encourage youth participation with youth classes at every show. This year we held a special practice show for the 4H & FFA Judging Teams. We have also added several "adaptive" classes for those with special needs.
